Submission guidelines

You have stories of experiences or realizations that taught you wisdom and resilience, that offered good life or business management insight,  or a new definition of strength. Please share your story  and what you learned (a 5 second to 5 minute read), and share a related image. It’s not about telling people what to do, but about what you experienced and learned, what helped you. And it will probably resonate with others. Note, we want to share the insights and voices from and for all ages, backgrounds, types of organizations, etc – so, whether you are 6, 14, 43 or 91 years old, you have wisdom to share. And whatever country you live in, or whatever level you are in your business, you’ll have human or organizational insight.  Write it down,  share a photo, follow a few guidelines, and we’ll be happy to share it.

  • Submit your story via story@experiencetoresilience.com, or via our contact page.
  • Please attach a (related) image to your story, and give us a one-line bio or list of words that describe you.
  • We can share the story anonymously or with your name, as you prefer – just let us know.
  • Please share your Instagram handle, if you would like to be tagged (we are @e2resilience)
  • You can check the blog and our instagram feed to see examples of other blog posts and short stories.

*We can’t promise we’ll be able to publish your resilience story, but we’ll definitely read it appreciatively, and, if possible, will send a thank you.

What kind of story can I send in?

Chances are, a couple stories in your personal or working life come to your mind, when called to think about something that went especially well🤩, … or especially wrong 😖. Write a short summary of the situation or experience, how you felt, and what you learned. It can touch on any and all aspects of resilience.  You might have channeled perseverence and play, critical thinking and compassion, flexibility and faith. You might be using tools, processes, principles, doses of humor and humility, creativity, and/or some magic mix of some or all. Our insights come from work places, life’s activities, hard knocks, and sometimes from surprising situations and folks. Give yourself (and us!) some time to share some wisdom that’s helped you. Thanks!
