Emotional awareness month & leadership in a fast changing world.

 Hello Readers,

Happy October, happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian colleagues, and welcome to autumn (in the Northern Hemisphere)!  This is emotional wellness month. We’ve made it through “septemverwhelm” — my new term for that post summer holiday, school ramp up, activities catch up that is September– and are turning our attention to the holidays, and end of year goals.

Hello October, hello 🍂autumn , hello ❤️‍🩹emotional wellness month. Greetings and a quick couple of thoughts for leaders in a fast changing world.

Here’s a link to the free test I mention in the video.

Feel free to book a free, 30 minute time slot on my calendar, to review and better understand your results, and what they do and don’t mean, regarding your natural strengths and challenges as you move through the world (and lead yourself, your team, and others).

A few days ago, I had the privilege and joy to speak with my brilliant and wise, Rotterdam-based colleague, Irene Angrenni, about what I call the “alphabet soup of corporate citizenship.”  We discussed how business leaders can stand out, keep their best employees and customers, by shifting from traditional-hierarchical-management styles to embracing emotional wellness, and a broader definition of organizational resilience… for 21% higher profitability.  Check out the 30 minute conversation  on Leadership in a Fast Changing World: Feel Good, Do Good, and Be Profitable.

🍂Here’s to an October where we channel our self-awareness, take deep breaths, and stay resilient in our stress management, relationships, and decision making.  As always, I love to discuss these topics, so feel free to book a 30 minute slot to talk through the challenges and some resources, book here.

If you are interested in joining a small group program to increase your self awareness, wellness, and the quality of team (and family!) communication, October is a great time to start.  Teams often go through the program together, and find it both healing and that productivity soars afterwards (whitepaper link). More information is here and FAQ. Feel free to give me a call or email with questions.

I look forward to hearing from you, and wish you emotional wellness, both this month and always.  Thanks for reading.
Rachel
